With Mike punching his tag a couple days earlier, Andy was in the hot seat and looking to get on another mature buck before time ran out. On his final day of the hunt, Andy was driving around and checking 1 of several trail cameras that they had out on the ground they were hunting. From the road, Andy spotted this buck bedded in a draw only a couple hundred yards away from one of the ground blinds that he had put up weeks earlier. After contemplating putting a stalk on the deer, Andy decided to go sit that ground blind that night in hopes of the big buck walking within bow range. As luck would have it the buck made his way past Andy before dark and he made a great shot on the deer. This is Andy’s first buck ever in the state of North Dakota.
