If there is a guy on the crew that has solid early season ground in Wisconsin, it is Chad. This year was no exception. A lot of off-season preparation and summer scouting had Chad optimistic about the first couple weeks of season. Early in the summer, he picked up the “Big 12” on his trail cameras and was getting pretty consistent pictures of him. After a while, the buck seemingly disappeared and the pictures came to a halt. Chad began focusing his efforts on a different farm and honing in on a 6 year old, 6 pointer that he calls “6 pack”. As luck would have it, a couple days before season Chad did a card pull on both farms and the “Big 12” was back and in daylight. Chad slipped in opening night and the buck came onto the field and fed for nearly a half hour before coming into bow range and he made the shot count.
