An early season cold front rolled through Iowa just in time for Jaden to grab the muzzleloader and head out to the blind for an evening hunt. Action was steady for the better part of the sit and as the sun began dipping over the hill, this buck stepped out and started working toward the blind. Jaden waited for the buck to give him a shot and he made it count. The hit was a touch back so he and his father backed out for a few hours before slipping back in for the late night recovery. The buck did not make it far at all and it was apparent he had expired almost immediately. Great shooting Jaden, and congrats on all of your successes early on in your hunting career!
