Andy and his father Bob do a lot of their hunting very close to home in west central Wisconsin. With a slow start to the season in September and October, they could only hope that November would bring with it some luck. After several months of “dry” card pulls on the cameras, things were looking up when some good bucks started moving into the area during the pre rut. The morning of November 4th rolled around and this buck hit the wrong scrape that just so happened to give Andy a perfect shot at him. Big deer are always fun to harvest, but it is even sweeter when you’re with your dad, not far from the house you grew up in.
