November 4, 2016 Brennen

Chris has a special piece of Iowa timber that he leaves unscathed for the entire year, until November.  With virtually no pressure on the piece, the deer are generally stacked in there during the rut and it’s almost a given that a few good bucks are in the mix.  This year was no different, shortly after day break this buck was spotted 75 yards to the west working a bedding area along the ridge top. A couple grunts sucked him right to the tree.
